The Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at UC Riverside is proud to announce that Professor Jianzhong Wu has been elected as a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE)—one of the highest honors in the chemical engineering profession.

Election to AIChE Fellow recognizes outstanding professional accomplishments, leadership, and service to the field. Professor Wu’s pioneering research in molecular thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, and advanced modeling has significantly advanced the understanding of complex fluids and materials. His contributions have not only shaped fundamental theory but also influenced practical applications in energy and environmental technologies.
