The Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at the University of California, Riverside proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of its alumni.

Dr. Bosen Jin, a graduate of our Ph.D. program, has been appointed as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the School of Integrative Plant Science at Cornell University. Dr. Jin completed his doctoral research under the guidance of Professor Yujie Men, focusing on innovative approaches to environmental engineering challenges.

In addition, another outstanding former student of Professor Men, Dr. Yaochun Yu, has joined the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University as an Assistant Professor. These accomplishments highlight the exceptional caliber of our graduates and the transformative mentorship provided by our faculty.

Congratulations to Dr. Jin and Dr. Yu on these well-deserved appointments. Their success reflects the strength of UCR’s CEE program and its commitment to advancing knowledge and leadership in engineering.
